Considering that the virus spreads primarily through physical contact, aside from the list of items given in order to help the spread of corona virus, it’s also extremely important to constantly wash your hands and avoid touching your face.
Mass media news sources and social media platforms have been closely following the spread of the virus, however specifically CBS News has been providing live updates. New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo has been heavily active on twitter addressing this issue (view tweets here). Moreover, other government officials such as Michael Reilly and Steven Matteo are active on Facebook.
Kristina Gershteyn, founder of Staten Island Lifestyle, created a Facebook group page named Staten Island Homeowners in order to connect homeowners as well as professionals and experts in the related fields, who can share their professional opinion on a matter. However, after the Covid-19 outbreak, the page has been utilized as a place for other residents of Staten Island and share real life experiences, helpful information and even our borough’s concerning topics.
