Transforming Snug Harbor into a beautiful light show. Bring your whole family to wonder at 8 acres of lights, live cultural shows, interactive exhibits, and more!

The winter extravaganza that will offer shoppers unique holiday gifts and handmade decorations as they soak in the seasonal festivities. Ornaments, crafts, baked goods and Mrs. Claus’ Attic Treasures will all be available in the Third County Courthouse.

Experience nostalgia all through the Historic Village. Visit New York City’s most complete historic village all dressed up for Christmas. Take an old-fashioned carriage ride down historic Center Street and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of winter in the country. Other activities include ice skating, ornament making, holiday shopping and more! Plus see the annual tree lighting at 5pm.

  • Annual New Dorp Lane Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Festival

There will be Christmas caroling, a family photo booth with Santa, a trackless train, animals, costume characters, free gift wrapping and much more! Free event.

 

  • Annual Richmond Road Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Festival

Welcome the holidays by singing Christmas carols while the Historic Conference House is illuminated from within. Dress warmly, as the festivities take place outdoors.

 

  • Holiday Lantern Walk

December 6 : 7 P.M. *begins immediately after  the conference house Grand Illumination*

Join an after-dark holiday lantern tour along moonlit park trails to view the park’s other historic houses which are also decorated and illuminated for the holiday season.

December 15 : 3 P.M- 5 P.M.

The event will feature a visit by Santa Claus, a DJ, rides for children and refreshments from local establishments. The celebration will coincide with a holiday party at the local firehouse on the corner of Four Corners Road and Richmond Road.The festivities are made possible due to support from the Richmond County Savings Foundation, Councilman Steven Matteo and Councilman-elect Joe Borelli.

 

  • Empire Outlets Tree Lighting Ceremony

December 3 : 3 P.M.- 6 P.M.

The first-ever tree lighting at Empire Outlets will showcase a 40-foot crystal tree and an evening of live music and caroling, hot chocolate, seasonal bites, in-store shopping deals and holiday revelry for the whole family. Guests are asked to bring much-needed toys for kids in need during the holiday season, to be donated to Toys for Tots in honor of #GivingTuesday.

 

  • Chanukah WonderLand and Grand Menorah Lighting

Staten Island Mall

December 22 : 4 P.M.-5 P.M.

Enjoy performances, music, dancing, crafts and prizes! Remember the day and take photos at the Photo Booth or get a Chanukah manicure. Refreshments will be provides
